Part of the work with planning and/or management is knowing how to let go, mainly, the situations that we cannot control. Intead we should concentrate the energies in the small area where it seems that we have some control. One of the situations in which you can have some control is in the planning and management of daily activities and/or of the team. Let's understand why I use the word "some": several unexpected factors can happen in the management of a planned day, but they will still, because they were planned, have some organization. When planning is thought out and done, it means that it is a clear objective and goals and that is the intention of organizing: implementation and achievement.
In the book "Be Happier" by author Tal Ben-Sharar he says: People who set goals are likely to be more successful than those who don't. Having explicit goals that are challenging and specific - with clear timelines and performance criteria - leads to better results. At the end of the text, to make it easier, I'll leave the direct Amazon link to the book I quoted here.
Realize that organization and well-being go together, especially in a world with so much information that selection is necessary. Focusing energies in the space where we have some control is part of the selection and that space has to do with each one's purpose. Example: imagine, that you have a trip in four months - from today until the day of the trip - will you take all the steps to make the trip happen correctly? Because your goal is the journey! You soon focus your attention on what is necessary to make that trip, among the measures you give up: some expenses and being with certain people. And in professional: whats is your goal? What steps do you need to take to achieve this goal? What are you willing to give up for him?

The main theme of the blog is planning and management, which are broad themes and for their applicability it is necessary to have a range of technical and behavioral skills. It is important that everyone observe and become aware of their own needs and choose what to read according to themselves. What I do is concentrate, in the same place, information, experiences and literature that can collaborate with planning and management. To this end, I have already written and published more than nine hundred texts which more than two hundred thousand people have already read.
The texts are mostly in the original language in Portuguese (Brazil). Gradually I'm translating them into English, Spanish, Italian and French. If you are interested in reading any of them in your language, please contact us.
